Icarus - flight to Olympus

Icarus- Flight to Olympus is a game that challenges you to fly through difficult environments without crashing. You control a character who has wings made of feathers and wax, inspired by the Greek myth of Icarus. You have to dodge obstacles such as houses, cliffs, clouds, and even lightning.

My contributions

This was our first project on The Game Assembly where we used unity as our engine.

My main focus in this project was to create, test and maintain the player controller.

I also used unity ragdoll physics system to make our character into a ragdoll and used that for the death/lose sequence combined with some slow-motion for a satisfying moment. I worked with cinemachine to control the camera both in-game and when a level starts for when the avatar jump out of the tower you start from.
